Просмотров 64211 лет назад
An interesting stop during our visit to Machu Picchu in Peru is Chinchero, a town on the Sacred Valley Tour with a unique community of women weavers. This young girl explains how they treat and dye alpaca, llama, and sheep wool before making clothes and other garments in English and Spanish. The video is not edited to keep our hostess's spontaneity.

what does this dance stand for?
There are three types of marinera: Marinera Limeña (Marinera from Lima), Marinera Norteña (Marinera from Peru Northern ), and Marinera Serrana (Marinera from the Andes). From them just on Marinera Norteña dancers stomp with their feet. On this choreography just male dancers do so. Probably it was an arrangement to make it easy to dance in group.
why is there two types? there's this one and one where they stomp their feet
StardustAshley the one with stomping feet is called huaynito
